Is There Hell?

life-quotes-15Unlike popular teaching on death out there, the Bible does not teach Hell as currently existing for the wicked (read Matt 10:28; 2 Pet 2:9; Mal 4:1-3). Actually, there is no Hell or Purgatory for the dead. Similarly, there is no Heaven for the dead now. Biblically, Hell will only have room for the wicked after the resurrection of the dead (read Rev 20:13-15). That’s when there’ll be the judgment day. Meanwhile, the example of Jesus–rising from the dead–suffices us. Yes, it is the very answer to the state and fate of the dead. It goes as simple as this: did Jesus rise from the dead? If yes, then, the dead will also be raised either to eternal life (that Jesus promises to those who follow Him) or to eternal damnation (Hell).

Have you heard that Jesus will come again to this Earth? That’s when He will fulfil these things.
