Despite our weak senses, the world is on fire. As you have probably heard of a house on fire on the news, you must know how dangerous it is to be in such a house. It probably occurred when some kids were in it. Before a fireman came to extinguish the fire, the kids died. Poor kids! They were not victorious over the flames.
Notwithstanding its invisibility, I perceive the entire world to be engulfed in flames. When I look at the suffering, struggles and trials of this world, I, then, perceive this fiery battle. Like the kids in the house, we will either win or lose this battle. Is the fireman delaying coming to help us out of these trials? And if he ever comes—He will definitely come—where will we be housed after we lose this house—our world? We’ll be kept somewhere above the flames. In this fiery world, we are being purified like gold. And in this purification, only the genuine ones will be victorious over the fire. So, while he is not coming, let us fight the flames. When he, actually, comes to our rescue, he will find us ready for salvation and house us where is safe. He’ll then eradicate its evil altogether, so that we can later come back to live in our restored home—our perfectly restored world—free from all evil.
Thank you, Lord, for promising to keep us in heaven, while our world is restored from its woe and desolation, so that we can later come back to live in it free from all evil!
